IMPOSTER/HECKLER was a performative intervention which featured in FORMAT International Photography Festival 2019 conference at the University of Derby.

Tasked with presenting a research paper attributed to 'Seed Series', a body of the artists own work of playfully made photographs precariously positioned in-between the fictional and documentary exhibited within the festival, IMPOSTER/HECKLER also transposed other research concerns regarding the presentation of the artists [subversive] voice.

The paper was presented by a carefully rehearsed imposter version of the artist/academic. The artist became her own anonymous audience heckler, undermining the validity of the claims in the research, resulting in dramatic outcomes.
