Part of the CivicLab’s Long Covid Research Project at the University of Derby, Big Mouth (Swabs Again) is a body of work for both image installation and performative lecture presentation based upon oral performing of written accounts by Long Covid patients. Inspired by Valie Export’s I turn over the pictures of my voice in my head, Gemma re-imagines this work through the lens of the pandemic.
